MBB Final: Louisiana 108, Coastal 101

We took more 3 pt shots than 2 pt shots. If we hit at that rate, we can win some games, but it’s not a sustainable game plan.

Yes but the big difference was we shot 46% from 3 which is drastically higher than our average since we were statistically the worst 3 pt shooting team in the conference on percentage, or at least the last time I looked. If you hit at that rate, it justifies taking that many shots to be honest.

The thing I was impressed with in the second half was our willingness to get the ball in the lane and driving to the basket. We got a lot of fouls called on those guys and were aggressive getting some good looks. The game was a high paced game which was going to play out for a lot of outside shots but I thought we did a great job of not settling and getting into the lane.

It's Marlin's fault. He coached them up well tonight. Even Lafayette drained two threes.

Lafayette looked good shooting the ball. Needs to get way better on defense especially his rebounding but he certainly helped us at times.
