Especially after dogging it a couple times this weekend and bad body language when they sacrificed him. I’m glad Deggs is finally treating him like a JAG. Just a guy. The spotlight needs to be on someone else for a while.

Windy can't swing the bat. He can play defense. Has a small bone fracture on the left hand. He was in on defense the last two innings. Had the game gotten tied up they would have had to pinch hit for him. And, then MAT was in at third base.

He should be back hitting by next weekend.

Looked like the majority of the team played with a little more fire in Saturday and Sunday than the previous 10 games. The one thing that concerns me is the lack of hustle shown by a few players. Errant throw by the catcher on a stolen base was basically walked after, allowing the baserunner to easily reach 3rd. Just blows my mind. We have a CF who is operating on basically one leg and you can tell he's giving everything he has. Thank goodness for our pitchers, catcher, and the handful of guys who are playing unselfish ball. Looking forward to Tuesday.

Offense seems to be trending up, but man, 1 homer in 3 weeks is brutal. Tough to get crooked numbers without home runs. Hell, Nick Gonzalez at NMSU hit 5 homers by himself on Saturday
