The team has found a way to win but we did win these two games with just 5 hits in each one. And a total of 20 strikeouts in the two games. There’s still a long way to offensively, but the weekend pitching is good enough to be in every game and give the hitters a chance.

If you can win like that, you can win on any day. Against any team.

We have plenty work to do, but this team can win a lot of games in the second half. Pitching is solid enough.

Our guys grew up a little bit this weekend. And Toro is the unquestioned engine of this baseball team.

As each kid figures out a role on this team they can be pretty good. We played so many lineups to try and figure out a starting 9 it really has done 2 things...1- taken away some consistent AB’s for some guys we are going to rely on and 2- created some pressure on some that are not getting those consistent AB’s. Not every kid except cantrelle/breaux knows they will be penciled in the lineup every time out and be allowed to work thru their struggle. I see improvments in the past week
