Toro picked one off of first in the 9th and threw another out stealing to end the game. Kid has thrown out 10 of 13 this season. That is absolutely unheard of.
Not to mention that he got the 7th started with a hit and scored the only run of the game.
Young was masterful, but Toro deserves some credit today as well...especially after taking a beating in another thread after last night.

Love the win. You just know winning 1/0 games is a recipe for disaster most games. Congratulations to all involved. Toro? Has anybody else caught this season. I know everybody worried about our last two catchers doing so many innings.
I’m not for anybody to take his place. He’s great behind the plate, and one of our best hitters.
