Did you know Kevin Faulk from Carencro was 5'8" and 205 lbs at NFL Combine?
Raymond Calais from Cecilia on 2019 roster is listed at 5'9" and 185. Anyone know what his weight is now?
Brady is good with smaller backs, i.e., Faulk; and Julian Edelman, 5'10" and 198 at present.
With all the years Brady was with Faulk, he should be able to understand Calais if he talks a little Cajun French (;^))

If you look at the graphic, Calais is 5'7.

Willie, I used the NFL.com graphic - like my EX-wife told me, that one inch is important - LOL

----Pretty sure that Calais is about 195 and was told by an NFL coach that he got Calais in a lot faster time that the TV calculated!

I figured that too - most draft-level players get professional help to get them ready for the NFL camps,

5' 7' 195lbs is pretty stout. I don't know if it is NFL stout, but pretty stout anyhow.

We got a lot of diminutive lovers on this board. Pint sized point guard that’s not playing bigger than he is.

Calais isn’t going to be a tackle breaker, but a tackle evader.

Even to evade the skill set of an NFL tackler, some substance is needed. I believe he has enough substance.

We saw Duce Macalister run between the tackles and Reggie Bush unable to often in the same season. We saw Reggie do very well in open spaces and passing game. I kinda see Calais as a smaller version of Bush.

We all love our Cajuns and should have pride in them, but I have seen Calais compared to Sproles, Faulk and Bush? I think Calais can have a long and productive career, but let's not saddle this kid with expectations that 90+% of pro RBs cannot achieve.

So we shouldn't saddle him with confidence, hope and belief that he can do it?

So this is a Cajun fan board? Should we simply say great job getting drafted. Do you actually expect total moderation from our posts?
