Yep, but ballsy is the way a mid-major school has to play the RPI game in any sport. It's how Gonzaga has gotten the respect they have in men's BB and Boise State in football. And you coach your team to get them thinking they can go into places like Baton Rouge, Austin, Gainesville, or Tuscaloosa and beat the opponent in their house. And our girls have done that. So I'll give Coach Glasco props for what he's doing.

exactly.. Cupcakes and padded schedules does nothing for long term health of a successful program. We cant win them all but pressure makes diamonds..

That's what I am saying. Glasco is doing what we would like for all of our teams to be doing: competing at the very highest levels....and doing a darn good job of it. This team will continue to improve and great strong, after playing the very best teams out there.

I think that is all understood by anyone who pays attention to college sports. Coach Glasco is doing exactly what he needs to do to try and build a resume to host a regional and super regional.

I had posted this on another thread, but think it is better here: Looked up the rankings just now and we are at #8. An interesting thing that jumped out at me was the fact that both texas (#3, down from #2) and lswho (#6) have only one loss each. Both from the same team.
And OK has only a few L's, and one of those is also from UL.

True in every sport but softball. In softball, the Sun Belt is always a top 10 conference. It wont be confused with the PAC 12 or the SEC, ACC or BIG 12, but is usually about even with the BIG 10.

The conference may be a little off this year, but the above statement is still true.
