The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have entered the top ten of one of the major college softball polls.

Louisiana is up one spot, in a tie for number 10, in the latest USA Today/NFCA Division I Coaches Poll, which was released on Tuesday

NFCA Coaches Poll still has Tennessee at #20, after going 7-6, getting run-ruled in 5 by UCF TWICE, and losing two to USF. I guess that preseason SEC bias can be hard to let go of. Kudos to D1 Softball for dropping them out of the polls.

BTW, Texas is 15-1, and the only ranked team they have played is Tennessee, allegedly #12 at the time. Now, I’m not saying that Texas isn’t good or deserving of their rank. They are. Elish will hit a solo homer and then pitch a no hitter to beat us 1-0 if we let her.
