UT gets almost every break possible in the 2nd game and still only beat us by 1.

We can't expect to sweep a top 5 team at home with pretty much only one player driving in runs. Still, It sucks to lose on a dropped popup, but I like our chances in the postseason against anybody if we keep improving at the plate.

Sooo close to getting the brooms out in Austin. Curry’s bombs went 300 ft into the wind. Nearly had a line drive HR to right. They hit Summer a little harder than I expected, and we didn’t hit Oleary as well as I thought we would. Still, we had them where we wanted them. Proud of these badass chicks and glad I finally got to see them live. They look tired though. I hope tomorrow and Thursday are rePleasel.

The only concern, and sample size too small to matter, is that Texas had more hits in both games.

When our bats wake up to their fullest, look out lady!

Just a little off topic, but even though we beat her in the 1st game, that Elish girl is a badass! She is a heck of a player, as well as a "Mighty Fine" physical specimen. She was really fun to watch. 😈 I may have to go out of my way to watch some more UT softball when it doesn't interfere with watching OUR girls play. 😇

We’ve faced a number of good pitchers and a few elite ones. Holding our own. Batters will have seen about as good as they will see (except maybe UCLA). Amazing only one run losses so far and In each just inches away of winning them all. Fun year.
Cannot get over how our two pitchers remain competitive even on a day without their best stuff. Love being spoiled.

Looked up the rankings just now and we are at #8. An interesting thing that jumped out at me was the fact that both texas (#3, down from #2) and lswho (#6) have only one loss each. Both from the same team.
And OK has only a few L's, and one of those is also from UL.

Wow. Can't write that script, or a much more favorable one.
