It is the only one he can go with this year.

If you weren't at the game and you didn't get to watch it online and just listened to it, you have no idea how much influence the behind the plate ump had on the outcome of the game. He called 15 or 16 strikes for Oklahoma State that were almost in the other batter's box. After watching that for two innings, I knew there was no way they were going to be able to hit that pitch that far off of the plate. So, they either watched it go by and the ump called a strike or swumg and missed. It was one of those games that made you want to throw up. Oklahoma State is not that good. They lost to Ole Miss, who was 1 and 8, the game before. It's just really disgusting how much influence an ump can have on a game. It was all about him and not the players. Tomorrow, with a different ump behind the plate, I'm confident the Cajuns will win. So, if you're disappointed with their performance at the plate, no player on any team in America could have hit a pitch that far out of the strike zone. Rant over.

That's disgusting. I don't see why umps like that are allowed to continue to call games.

The official that screwed the Saints against the rams two years ago wore the white hat in the Super Bowl this year. Go Figure.

Was Kleist getting those calls too? Are was it one sided?

Kleist got a few of the calls as well. But, not as many as the Oklahoma State pitcher. The difference was, Kleist struck out 9 without having to throw the outside pitch. If the OSU pitcher wasn't getting the way outside pitch called a strike, she would not have struck anyone out.

What is Kleist’s era? Has to be sub 1.00 and she’s got 3 losses I think. That’s nuts.

Very disappointing start to "THE" year. How long did it take us to get 3 losses last year?

We got to 2 pretty quickly. North Texas and Baylor. Then one about a month later to McNeese at home. Then not again until Oxford.

I’m trying to think positive and say the team will use this to get better. Hopefully the sweep the rest of the weekend. These games against top 25 teams are critical. We have a lot opportunities this year, but I’m guessing a losing record against top rpi teams won’t bode well come selection time.

If the bats come around, we can be dangerous. Just have to wake up bats.

Very surprised no one called you a cultist for this post. Of course I agree with you but it seems as though any fan who critiques Glacoe’s teams are considered cultist by some on this site.

    You must be the exception.

I can recall “hitting teams of the past” having dead bats vs Top 10 competition as well.

Sure this loss is disappointing. We’re 1-2 vs Top 10 teams so far this season. Each of the three games decided by one run.

Get a win tomorrow vs OK State.

I would just like to bump this thread because of yesterday, after some of the doom and gloom from losing to the #8 ranked team in the country by 1 run.

We’re 2-2 vs Top 10 opponents so far. Each game decided by a single run.

    Have a good day.
