Good Friday is usually a holiday (at least it is for my office.) People could catch some football and enjoy the long Easter weekend

I noticed A-State is doing theirs on a Thursday as well. May be a trend coming.

Might be a trend when the Saturday it is supposed to fall on is Easter weekend. Also, both baseball and softball will be on the road with Th, Fri, Sat series that weekend.

They haven't been well attended the past two years, so having the a night scrimmage under the lights doesn't really hurt attendance that much. It also allows staff and athletes the weekend off to spend with their families on a religious holiday.

I've always thought having night time spring games is an excellent idea. Even if it's during the week, I'm taking the day off to do a REAL, ALL DAY tailgate.

They could promote this very easily.

Most are off that Friday make it a party atmosphere
