There is a reason why so many players got cut from last year. I'm very much leaning towards your perspective. Deggs isn't a miracle worker . Its early and trying to be optimistic.

Try to be a little greedier next time and wish for more. That was brutal.

It's going to take time to build back a program that has been trending down for 5 year's... not going to happen over night

None of these players are Deggs players. We went out and recruited hard after the performance the last two years. Lots of new bats in the lineup but it looks like we did better upgrade on pitching than hitting. It’s still early, but concerning on the hitting side.

Ironically, I had posted that right before Windy got the lone hit.

l will definitely be greedy now. I want 10 runs on Tuesday night and another 7-8 against Tulane on Wednesday.

Whats the common denominator? They guy who tried to teach hitting is now recruiting hitters. Third system in 3 years. We had 40 plus kids to choose from this fall. These are the ones we chose.

At this juncture, might as well swing for the fences and hope for the best.

Man you're right. Good thing Deggs cut so many of Robe's players, including most of the incoming Freshmen. Without all these JC replacements, it would have been much worse.
