Sorry, I just wanted us to win that game last night for Robe and his family, I know it’s a long season, I was hoping to get out of the gate 8-0 or something and get some National attention. Just can’t get over Robe not being there in that dugout, will take time

Too bad we did not switch the order of the games today (have SLU vs. LT be the earlier game). This puts the Cajuns in the situation where our #2 faces LT's #1.

I'm agreeing with you. Have not seen so much negativity on a UL board in a very long time. Even when Hud was tanking, it wasn't as bad as the basketball bashing and now some bashing baseball after one game. Seems contagious. And as long as the posts keep coming, it feeds the fire.

Can’t always get what you hoped for. I think a lot of people went last night with no expectations because of the circumstances.

Even if we won last night, best to look at today as the true 1st game of the season. We are 0-0 in my eyes.

I cant imagine the weight of everything on the players and coaches last night. Deggs said in interview that everyone was trying to hard.

16 k's come on, I love my cajuns but I'm a realist also. Superstar Cantrelle k's 3 times, we were completely dominated at the plate by a Southland Conf team, do you not see a problem with that

You do realize that even some Southland Conference players are drafted, and some even wind up in the Bigs. This kid might very well be one of them. Especially in baseball, it is possible that one pitcher might be excellent, and can control the game, even if the rest of the team is mediocre... and, I'm not saying SLU is mediocre.
