How can I love a man that I never met? Same way that I love Jesus Christ. I give thanks to both for the courage to say something like that out loud. Now, let’s get happy and celebrate what has become my favorite time of year, baseball and softball season.

Unbelievably I will not be there.... Work has me out of town till Sunday.. My son will be face timing me...Is it ok if I cry from afar?

Wish I could be there. I don't think I've wanted to attend a baseball game so much and for a reason that has so little to do with the actual game. It's sure to be a little different for everyone, but I'll have some tissues at the ready while listening on the radio.

Reminder, game will be broadcast on CST and ESPN+. Not sure how much of the Robe ceremony they'll show. Ceremony starts at 5:55. I'd plan to be in your seat by 5:30, 5:45 at the latest. Lines at gates could be long with everyone trying to arrive early. CST broadcast starts at 6. They'll likely join in live 5 minutes late. First pitch at 6:10.

Dress warm, it'll be cold with feel like temps in the mid to low 40s all night.
