The Cajuns have made their last 6 shots and have a 5 point lead. @bucket_getta1 leads the Cajuns in scoring with 23 points.

These refs are the worst I have ever seen in the dome
Rough has day to be a Cajun fan.
We love to dribble. TOs, missed front end of two 1&1s and two really bad 3 point attempts ruin what was a pretty nice game. Coach was just silly tonight. Must have wanted a day off. Not a good example to kiddos in attendance. But what the hey. Thank God for tennis.
The ref and Marlin were jawing back and forth which the ref should have simply teed Bob, but it became a urinating match. That's the reason he eventually got ran. I'm not one to blame a loss on the refs and won't start now. But that was one horrific display of officiating.
Giving up 6 early points in backcourt turnovers, failure to manage consistently breaking a soft 3/4 press (which wore out legs) and having the team that leads the league in 3's wide open is why we loss. The officials were just trimming on a bad night.
Found it interesting Marlin did not do the post game. Being ran should not had been an issue.
I agree with VObserver in this instance. When you are short handed every point counts. As frustrated as the situation was, you have to maintain your composure. Pressure may have finally gotten to Coach Marlin and he simply blew. As far as how many he gets, those were the first two this season. Still, Cajuns lost this game because of turnover trouble throughout game and missed free throws in the second half. Legs appeared tired in last 5 minutes which may have contributed to the free throw issues. The Eagles thrive on forcing turnovers from their trap and the Cajuns simply were not focused enough to overcome them. They have to get contributions from more than 6 players to have any sustained success. Otherwise they will wear out on every Saturday game following a Thursday game. Hopefully, Wesley can play next week and aid that situation.
I was not surprised Coach Hardin did the post game. He was the guy who had the scout assignment on the game and therefore was the main guy for 90 percent of the game. Not sure what happens normally when a guy gets tossed. However, in this instance since the removal came so early Coach Marlin had little influence on most of the game.
I agree on a lot of these points. As good as Wilson has been this season one weakness he has shown is a tendency to get caught in that half court trap which normally leads to bad things. Hardy and Russell both went 40 minutes tonight after going 40 and 37 on Thursday. Temple being held out may have played a factor in that as well, if he could have just given a few minutes maybe those guys have something left in the tank down the stretch. It was nice to see Cedric attack the basket the last 2 games. I don’t know if that is an indicator that his foot is feeling better or if he is simply playing through it.
Cedric still has foot AND ankle issues. They may be slightly improved but he is a warrior playing through the pain. Fatigue may have played a factor with his late game issues last night. Temple was held out of the last two games due to injury. He pulled a quad in shoot around on Thursday. Not sure how long he will be out. However there is some optimism Trajan Wesley will be back for the games in Alabama. That may help the fatigue issue for the guards. Agree that Wilson needs to have more focus when traps come. At times his passes are lackadaisical. Seems to forget that these opponents are a lot faster than when he was in HS. I trust he will improve in that area with more experience.
