Unfortunately, you're right. Still like poking fun at it, though. You'd think that they'd get it right after visiting campus, talking to coaches, etc. But in a grand scheme of things, I'm sure there's so much going through a recruit's head that'll take preference over the correct reference to a school.

It is amazing that our recruiting personnel can’t get recruits properly on board with OUR NAME IN the announcements. We uniform them, can’t we school them on our name? Obviously NOT.

I saw Lafayette High had a pretty good kicker this year? 1st team All-State I think. Might be able to get him a preferred walk-on if not worthy of a full ride.
