I know this won't please some but at least the team hasn't given up. I also so Trajan on the bench last night. I wonder how far he is from returning.
I musta missed all the other teams who don’t fight for a win in spite of their shortcomings. Them fighting for a win to the bitter end actually is pretty common amongst losing teams.

And our poor Cajuns are the only team to deal with injuries.. whether it be during a 27 win season or when we are bottom 3 in conference.

On the ESPN+ broadcast last night Dan mentioned a conversation with B.J. Duplantis where he said there is chance Trajan might play next week on the road trip.

Trajan will not play tomorrow night and neither will Temple. Wesley may play next week on Alabama trip. Not sure how long Temple is out. Aucoin’s back acted up on him on long bus ride back from San Marcos. Not sure if that is why he did not play last night. Smith did not practice much during week due to sprained ankle suffered at Texas State but seemed to not be impacted last night. In Texas Russell played well on Thursday but struggled on Saturday. Wonder if only one days rest was a factor there due to his ankle and foot problems. Will be interesting to see how he does tomorrow night. Although injury issues are not as bad as two weeks ago since Wilson is now 100 percent, we still are dealing with health issues. That is one reason last night was a gritty win.

Of course all teams deal with injuries. However this is the worse I have ever seen for our club. Dr. Maggard said it is the worse he has seen in all his years in athletics. No doubt situation has illustrated fact some recruiting misses occurred with guys towards end of the roster. That portion of the squad needs to be improved for us to be able to better deal with such a situation were it to occur again in the future.

I did see a 15 second clip of the locker room celebration on the team's Twitter page. That is all I had hoped for. Great to see so many cheers and smiles amongst both players and coaches.

It was a great win and glad to see the guys able to get some revenge on those clowns.

Really?...you’ve never seen teams give up midway thru a season, whether talking pro or college?
