Perhaps they waited to announce the Ruiz signing until tonight as they wanted the major boosters to hear it first. On the other hand it may simply be that the signing occurred late in the day.

He does have 2 years remaining. Played 2 years at Arizona State and then sat out this past season to concentrate on his studies. That will allow him to graduate in the spring and not have to sit out in 2020.

Yes, committed to 'Bama before signing with the Sun Devils. Career long 54 yarders. The article I read said he sat out 2019 with a 'lower extremity issue', but who knows these days.
