Two reasons from what I've been told, academics and only playing varsity two years. He had very little video out from his junior season, which was his first and really didn't attend many football camps. He has the same body build as Wilkerson, but he is not as polished. Can't teach his size and quickness.

Looking at the transfer portal their are a number of kickers in the transfer portal. Couple of interesting ones.

Conner Culp--Currently at LSU, was 11-16 as a kicker on FG in 2017 and 20=23 on X points. Did not play in 2018. He is immediately eligible to transfer. He was a 3 star recruit out of Arizona with a cumulative rating of .8195. Was considered the #12 kicker in HS coming out of Arizona.

AJ Reed--Duke kicker from Prattville, AL who is immediately eligible. He also was a 3 start kicker out of HS that was the #13 kicker coming out. Was 15-18 last year on FG's and was 2-2 from 50+. His 3 misses were from 40-49. He also handled kickoffs for them with 15 of 57 for touchbacks. He was 34-34 on X-Points.
