The U. S. Highway 167 overlay from Ville Platte to Nuba is underway. The 17 mile roadway serves as a critical gateway for commerce between St. Landry and Evangeline Parish.


“DOTD expects the $3.2 million project to be completed in June. You can expect some minor delays when you the travel that road, but hopefully they will be minimal, said Senator Eric LaFleur, who has received some complaints. “We have to try to be patient and let them complete the work. It will be worth it,” said LaFleur.
