Recruiting and the potential to bring someone else in this year even though as of now there is not a scholarship available had been discussed earlier in this thread so I posted that here. Just saying here is proof that is a possibility. The fact that this kid already has 17 offers make chances slim he actually ends up here. Also as discussed earlier in this thread there could be someone move on who you don't expect because of off the court issues. Marlin did not necessarily kick 4 guys off the team last year to try to get better players. Most of those guys were forced to move on because they failed too many tests, some taken in the classroom, some taken in the bathroom.

How do Mike and others keep coming up with $1 million for the buyout? It would be $475,000 if we moved on in April of this year.

I did not know buyout details. Someone in another post said weeks ago it was 1 million before March 31. I was simply repeating that number. I stand corrected.

Ok but others were allowed to stay. It's about the talent. If they were good enough, they would still be on the team.

I disagree. Some guys who left were given multiple chances to clean up their act. Administration decision was responsible for some guys moving on. This situation may be a factor in post season decisions.

So what Bob prides himself on, recruiting high characters guys, actually didnt work out and that should factor in his favor this offseason?
