What no one is talking about is Napier's new buyout. I would imagine it is now somewhere in the 3 to 4 million dollar range. If they are only willing to spend 4 million on a 4 year deal, are they really willing to spend the money on Napier's buyout. I am assuming the also had to buyout Moorehead. Does Mississippi state really have that kind of funds currently?

Supposedly, according to several posters, they have a very large $100m + "rainy day" fund they could tap into for that very purpose.
