Because one year he will be considering leaving and will not want to confirm it until it is done. If he gave a definite denial now, but then gave a "dancing" response in the future, the next question would be, "Why are you not giving a definite answer now?"

BN is no fool. You don't out and out burn a bridge in the SEC. This is why he is successful, sees the big picture. He’ll never call Moo State a dumpster fire.

MSU had a tutor problem this year, players fighting, Moorhead’s Yankee remark. Kinda like when Hud lost control. Those clowns need to get checked.

.......If I had the business, the money, and the smarts why wouldn't I hire BN as an associate/consultant.......had some ex college coaching friends that ran an oil company like a football program and made millions! Guess I could give him some bucks for the advice!! A lil extra for staying!

Again, my sources both inside and outside the Athletic Dept. Tell me he's staying. Another thing. Paul Finebaum is reporting that he has declined to interview for the job. Finebaum has big connections with every single SEC program. He's not getting his news just from Napier or just from our AD. He getting it directly from Mississippi St.

Skirting around the answer is worrisome but I’m just gonna take him at his word until I get a reason not to.

Think about that optic from a national view...a SBC football coach tells an SEC program “thanks, but no thanks”.

Three takeaway points. BN has integrity. UL has something desirable for the next coach to consider. MSU has issues.
