Thread: The Cajuns didn't sign a quarterback now, but may later

  1. UL Football The Cajuns didn't sign a quarterback now, but may later

When UL unveiled its early 2020 signing class on Wednesday, one recruiting omission seemed glaring: There was no quarterback on the list.

We have 5 on the roster. Not really a need this year.

    We don’t need another quarterback.

Javi showed promise and then the transfer i'm sure has learned the system and has all the tools.. This article is baffling.

Why would you waste a roster spot on a QB that you don’t need? If there’s a great one, yeah go get him, but don’t force it. It’s like this was written in July when there will still questions about Levi.

The saints could have drafted Lamar Jackson a few years ago. They didn’t because they didn’t need him.

If we want to be technical Hawkins should count for this year's class as I believe coach said he ended up blue shirting.

We technically have 6 but beau Kalbacher is in the transfer portal. The only way I think we grab another qb is if one of our current qbs decides to leave the Cajuns. Or if we bring in a walk on which does not affect the roster at all. Otherwise we are where we are at qb in 2020.

Or of course unless a player like Tua wants to play for the Cajuns. Which probably ain’t happening

I'd settle for us directing our attention to grabbing a couple of interior beef eaters on the DL like Hamilton and Ringo over a QB.
