Abbeville - Courthouse may beef-up security after break-in
The Vermilion Parish Courthouse was broken into over the weekend but nothing was stolen, according to the Abbeville Police Department.
Sunday morning someone discovered that a small window was broken by the large door facing Charity Street.
They viewed the tape and saw a man walking around the first floor of the Courthouse for 20 minutes.
While in the courthouse, he walked to the snack machine down the hall, and paid for a snack. He crawled back out of the same window and escaped.
