I have not seen or heard of any paying student getting bumped for a scholarship athlete.

You never hear of a check being cut to any school for 400 athlete tuitions.
So at the end of the fiscal year no cash is received, no bad debt is written off the tax books. If that’s not a mirage I don’t know what is.

Tulane has a very good coach, in a destination city, new stadium on campus, in a much better conference, in one of America's most fertile recruiting areas....

All I posted was the relative values a full scholarship athlete gets at each school. No more, no less. It is what it is and no one can really dispute that, of course unless you are a dumbocrat. They dispute anything that is not free 🤔

I still agree with you and it is apparent that you don’t fall within the subset I noted.

This is a more accurate reflection of class quality.
Tulane, UL, and LTU are all within .5 of a point of each other, and ULM is within 2.2 points of Tulane. That looks pretty much like a wash to me. I wonder if such a small difference in the athletes will even be detectable on the field. I think the difference will be in how these players develop under the different coaching staffs they'll be coached by.

Billy has staff dedicated to finding and evaluating who is offered and whose commitment is accepted. Many recruits are simply overrated....they spend a huge amount of time and resources to ID those that are the best fit. They don't set these rankings nearly the same as the ratings services.

    In Billy we trust!

I actually think it’s both. Indest says Amos is the best athlete he’s ever coached. That guy has coached few pretty good ones....
