I'd dispute that generalization to this extent. The very successful teams aren’t not missing multiple players for most of the season. The 2017 Cajuns were very healthy for most of the season for example.

No doubt we're too young and too under-talented to absorb much. Anyone reading RP for any time knows my frustration with coach Marlin.

You mentioned Russell's groin injury. An injury that may not necessarily make him miss time but I assume you are saying that it will hinder him much of the year. Correct? Well, I'd say that all teams have bumps and bruises that may not make players miss games per se but is certainly something they have to overcome. That was my point as I'm pretty sure that was your point.

I’ve been told it’s a strategy. He’s letting the other coach verbally beat the other team. I don’t think that’s the best use of a TO. I say if the opponents are not doing things well let it accelerate.

When I told you guys we were a mid level Southland Conference team with a .500 record on the season outlook. Some posters laughed.

Given our facilities, recruiting footprint and historical success, this program should dominate the Sunbelt and win a few P5 out of conference games.
