By the way the bus did stop in Slidell and picked up a few folks(three people I think). Dropped them off on the way back as well. The bus trip was perfect!

.......never could spell the place but the new Mendin ffs in Slidell....walked in today and saw about 5 Cajun tables and yelled Ragin’ and had some loud Cajuns being yelled back.... great time....thanks great game!!!!!!!!!

Those were New Orleans area Alumni Association folks, officers I believe. Picking them up was pre arranged as thanks for their efforts in that area. There was no room on the bus for more than those 3 people.

Name is Middendorf's. Offshoot of the one in Manchac which is on 55 between Hammond and Laplace. Glad Boomer had a good time at the new one. I have been told by others it is difficult for the new place to match the atmosphere of the original location.

Grew up going to the original. My mom LOVED the thin fried catfish.
