We need 5 more Buses. LFG.
2 sold out 10 days early when they said a season opener bus to the Super Dome was undoable, is stepping up indeed.

It also says they underestinated the fan base ... Again.

They really need to offer one with stops in refineryville, northshore, etc., and with shorter durations. It costs nothing to try.

I hope they don't stick with sold out, and open up the option for a third bus with more than a week to fill it.

That makes sense. Why not try to fill a third one?

Guessing they had a hard deadline, likely self-imposed. I don't think they went far enough either, but I guess it's a start.

Why is there a deadline of any kind? There’s no shortage of rooms, or tickets.

Devil's advocate here. They probably didn't want to have the hassle of refunding people if any successive buses had gone unfilled. But, were I in their shoes, I would not have stopped trying this early. It's a defeatist attitude if you ask me.

To be fair, it’s not like our fan base has exactly “shown up” when it counted. Looking around at social media posts about having to walk ten feet to get to the stadium... I can understand their underestimating interest.

Break even on a bus? Probably 75% gets it done. Regardless had they been very proactive they might have filled several more. Very reluctant in our marketing on this, I guess because it’s not organic like the first NOLA Bowl.

The bus will probably drop you off pretty close.

13 to 20,000 made that walk.

    Six times.

Several thousand drove themselves to NOLA to open the season.

To me that's proof of not enough bus effort.

RCAF should handle the untapped Ragin' Roadies.

The few do not represent the majority. Most educated, reasonable fans understand that you have to charge money for services & goods. Getting to a better conference, renovating CF, winning championships and attracting top notch talent (players/coaches/admin) isn't free. Somehow, those things have to get paid for.
