Well if we were actually dealing in only elite rewarded there’d be about twenty teams that consistently compete. Even among those twenty only about eight consistently finish in top ten, and only about six are rewarded most seasons. Everybody else are there to help provide an image of competition that doesn’t exist, that’s the reality. Your problem is that you only focus on the weakest group.

It like Ricky Bobby says in Taledaga Nights, if you ain’t first you’re last. So outside of a very small group everybody is playing for last.
