He did enroll at Ole Miss following injury. At early season QB Club meeting Coach Napier sounded doubtful Chase would ever play football again. Said his Dad wanted him to give it another try but his health may not allow it. Ole Miss players would have to sit out but they can always go FCS and play right away.

I understand that Mike, that's what our team doctor told him and why he was released to transfer him. He was not going to play football here again because our team doctor would not release him to play and he received a second opinion here in Lafayette. They would have kept him on scholarship, but apparently he and his parents didn't like the idea of him not playing football again.

Can Chase Rogers change his mind? We probably recruited several players that ended up at Ole Miss. Wasn't there a small scatback that spurned us at the last minute a couple of years ago? Can always use SEC OL and DL.
