Thread: Cajuns Finish Day One At Louisiana Classics

  1. Default Cajuns Finish Day One At Louisiana Classics

Three teams are tied for the lead after the first day in one of the best fields in the 25-year history of the Louisiana Classics. Tulsa, Illinois and LSU all are sitting at the top of the leaderboard after the first two rounds.

The Cajuns stand 14th after the first 36 holes, with Philipp Fendt leading the way. Fendt shot 73 in the first round and followed up with a 70 for a 143, good for a tie at 12th place at one-over par.

Rainy conditions hampered the latter part of the first round and forced golfers to deal with soggy terrain during the second 18 holes.

The current leader is Illinois's Scott Langley (-8), followed by three other golfers at 4-under .

The final round will conclude on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m
