Many are predicting Jay Johnson will take over as the OC at Arkansas.

I would love to see what he could do in the SEC. He had some special years with Blaine and Terrance.

Blaine and Terrance were damn good Qb's. Terrance was the true dual threat. Blaine was the rocket passer / cannon arm who could laser dissect a secondary... Man I miss those guys.

Napier isn't taken any of those.

If Memphis wants someone with ties to Novell, I think Chip Long (OC at Notre Dame) makes the most sense. Will Hall would be another choice, but definitely wouldn't excite the base, but would come cheap.

If I'm Memphis, I take a LONG look at Rich Rodriguez. Outstanding offensive mind and there is the very outside chance you pull Plumlee from Ole Miss.
