This. Should have been done long ago. Maggard just cleaning up another Farmer fumble.

Yet many will cry about UL charging 10 yet will pay the same or more a walk a freaking mile in Refineryville.

Unrelated, kinda...JJ must have a man crush on Garret over in Dallas. Talk about dudes that need to go, he's one.

Do they still only accept cards for payment? I seem to remember that being a thing and people getting frustrated cause the machines wouldn’t work and it bogged down the traffic coming in.

People who say they won’t come because of a $10 parking fee don’t really want to be there. There are several “free” parking options that require only mild to moderate physical exertion if $10 is really your financial sticking point. SLCC has plenty of parking spots and is a short walk. The area around Blackham is still free, I think. I bet there are a few other venues I’m not thinking of that a person on a tight budget could employ to save a few dollars and still attend. People making that excuse aren’t really emotionally invested in coming to the game. I still contend that the key is to long term, consistent winning, and then we will attract more and more people who will want to be part of the experience.

These folks would have a heart attack if they saw the parking prices for a New Years Six bowl game or a NFL game.

These same folks have no problem paying $10 or more for a crappy spot at the Youngsville Mardi Gras parade.

Be thankful! I've played a lot more to park at sporting events and still had a long walk. Similar to walking from Albertsons to Cajun Field.

Debit or credit only. After the student parking fisaco years back, cash isn't going to happen.
