A new pediatric area is making leaps and bounds at Lafayette General Medical Center. It's an emergency room for kids. Parents say the new area is not only pleasant for them but also for their kids. "It was quick; they were very good with details. They told me what I needed to do and I really liked the energy," said mother Raeane Buford.
The new area is equipped with six suits, and electronic supply station and an isolation room. The doctors who work in the kid area, work hand and hand with doctors in who work in the E.R. The two areas are right next to each other on the first floor.
