What if we win 4 in a row? Top 20 final ranking? Then, we open next year just outside the rankings, but win our first 12? Top 10? Then if we win the NY6 bowl next year, do we have an argument for the national championship?

I bet that would do wonders for recruiting.

This used to be a dream, but is actually realistic with this staff and team now.

We might have an argument, but our schedule will be too weak overall to support that argument. I doubt we could win against the top four and have a twenty game win streak and make the top four.

Instead because we beat them their overall rank would be discounted.

Yeah, that part was a little bit tongue in cheek, but the rest of it, although a long shot, is actually possible with this staff. Jmo

Great, sometimes I don’t catch the sarcasm about the structure of the playoff system.

I agree that there’s no real limit to how far this staff can bring the program.

What Central Florida recently did with their winning streak and NY6 bowls, is certainly possible here. UCF was winless only a few seasons ago. Sure they are in AAC, a stronger schedule than SBC. But if Cajuns run the table one of these years, we have great shot of making a NY6 bowl. We are on the right track. Geaux Cajuns!

App state is probably one loss from doing that if they run the table. Two P5 wins this year. Ga Southern probably costed the conference multiple millions.

Hopefully we cement them out this year.
