Southeastern is ranked # 324 by Massey. We should beat any such team we play.

Good to beat the teams you are supposed to. We’ll see what’s what in a few weeks.

Granted schedule has been relatively soft so far. However ladies are 3 and 1 with some indication they are improved from a season ago. Perhaps they can have a winning season.

Mike, while I would love for that to happen, we are currently # 275, 10th of 12 SBC schools according to Massey. He may be wrong, but I doubt he is off by enough to make us have a winning season. He has us projected to win 10 games, total.

I believe it is too early to put much stock in those type rankings as of yet. Still, I recognize a winning season would be an accomplishment for this bunch but it is a slight possibility.

I think we will get a better idea of our Cajun women's team Thursday. They play a UNO team that is only 2-2, but has Losses to LSU and Arkansas, but defeated Pensacola Christian and more importantly went to Ole Miss and won by 5. While they were not competitive against LSU or Arkansas and they played a non D1 team in Pensacola Christian and won by 60, that win vs Ole Miss is fairly impressive. Even as a bad SEC school that is a good win for UNO. We play Ole Miss late in December at the Pavilion as well.

I don't disagree with this. We have a chance against UNO. Their ranking is similar to ours, so I am not sure how good an indicator beating them is. But a win is a good thig, regardless. Ole Miss is a really bad SEC team, but they ARE an SEC team. We will get a ratings bump by beating UNO, no doubt.
