I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a worse shooting team. Youngstown is terrible

When they settled down and actually played real basketball, the cajuns did well. When they played street basketball they were pitiful. Good win that honestly I did not think they could do. Geaux Cajuns.

We destroyed the Vegas line. At least the spread

If it's too much he could still be shut down and get a medical redshirt, he may just be able to give some minutes in games until Hardy is possibly reinstated.
I'll be shocked if Hardy plays this year.

I had not heard he addressed the team. Perhaps he apologized for his actions and begged to be part of the squad again. This may turn out to be a good life lesson for the young man. Note, the coaching staff did not come close to considering allowing him to enter the game tonight. Wesley was rusty tonight but the minutes he was on court allowed some much needed rest to the regulars. Lafayette also contributed in his 3 minutes. I noticed he had 3 rebounds, a blocked shot, and a basket during that time. The guy who likely will end up taking a medical redshirt is Javone Lowery. Still on crutches at game tonight.

22 straight from the line in the second half. I can't tell you how significant that stat is. That alone covers up lots of sins and win you lots of games that are in doubt. We did have plenty of mistakes in the first half to cover up including a stagnant half court offense and too many turnovers. Encouraging that several players knocked them down and even the front end of the one and one was hit twice. I do give coaches credit for one thing and that was sitting Dou Gueye for some bad decisions offensively. While he was out we did struggle on the boards against a bigger team. When he came back in he was more in control and helped against the press as well as at the line. Also, this was Kobe Julien's best game in every aspect. Moved well all over the court and showed no ill effects from the injury. Need that Kobe to show up more frequently for this to not be a rough season. Finally, I do expect PJ Hardy to play again. He would not have been allowed to practice yesterday and dress tonight if there was not a plan for him to return at some point.

Expectation is that Smith will be back sometime during the upcoming trip. If not at Wyoming, sometime on the Vegas trip. Note I said expectation, there is no guarantee.
