So let’s get this understood, we’re anxious about our coaches leaving because they’re too good for us, or staying too long because they’re killing the program with their ineptitude.

Maggard next coach add: Looking for a Goldilock coach. Young enough to get the job done, too old to be courted.

I am not anxious about it, but doesn't mean I look forward to it. I trust Dr Maggard to make another good hire, but I am also realistic. He has been awesome in hiring so far, but no one is perfect, he will miss eventually. Just hoping he is like Rick Barry from the FT line.

Two situations developing that may cause some sleepless nights for csjun nation...University of Cincinnati has an AD job open...and you have to wonder how long Arkansas is going to put up with their putrid football program after Western KY beat the dog carp out of them today...in Fayettville no less..

It's not keeping me up, I assure you that. We (Cajun fans and alums and UL admin) can't control what they do. If they want to stay, great. If they want out, then we (UL) will react and do what we can to keep the positives going. Can't keep worrying about it so much people. We've had such little success here in football, every time we have a little, people think it's going to crash down, coaches will leave, AD's will leave. Come on, enough is enough, please.

Hey, isn’t that what happens to a university in G5? It will happen and hopefully we will find another superstar. But rest assured, it will happen.

Yes, it happens to all but about 15 Universities in the country, P5's too. Those that have the $$ to keep them, and sometimes that isn't enough. Let's enjoy the ride, and our ride just started. Hate to bring this up, but it matters to me, we still have not beaten a good team. I know it's debatable what "good" is to some. I would say maybe a couple of teams at the top of the G5, and most (not all) of the P5.

This is true, but we are beating the teams we are supposed to beat and in the manner we should be handling them. 8-1 against the spread suggests the team is over performing, were underestimated or a combination of the two.

It looks like we will have another chance at App St and then a bowl opponent. This will be a good test on the progress of the team and staff.
