I’m going to miss Milligan’s base stealing. She was my favorite player to watch because of her running.

No doubt we will miss her speed and Kara's but rest assured we have brought in three speed kids who can fly. Fawcett, Ruffins and Alderink.

The tread is about the possible opening day lineup. Summer will start the first game.

I would think it will be 1 and 1A. Kleist has some nasty stuff.

Yes she does, but still knocking some rust off. Regardless we are in good shape pitching wise.

Yes, the team has speed. However, you will not see small ball like you have the past two years. This team is all about power, one through nine.

Correction. Make that 1 through 13.

Stay tuned could be 1 through 14.

    Speed is still a need.

They won't all be round trippers.

I’d have to imagine Kleist will be #1 once she knocks off the rust, right?

I made it to every home fall ball game this year. To me, the definition of power is cranking homeruns and hitting the wall for doubles and triples. I didn't see too much of that in fall ball this year from the girls that are supposed to be the big threats. Certain girls had certain moments but overall, I was disapointed. I'm not sure with the out of conference schedule that the Cajuns are playing this year just how many homers they are going to crank. In conference, it will probably be a different story. But with the pitching that they will be facing out of conference, I'm just not sure if the power will materialize.

Summer is a returning all american. Doesnt matter who is 1 or 2. What matters is we are loaded.

1A and 1B, Ellyson and Kliest!!!!!! Arguably the best 1/2 in the country, both are former All Americans.
