We are right now the best defense in the conference. I have been very pleseantly surprised by the progress of our young players up front. App averages 38.5 ppg... we held them to 17.. GaSo averages 25 .. got 24 against us..stAte averages 32.5 .. we gave them 20.. TxSt averages 18.1... 3 against us.

We all love the offense, but the truth is,we are winning consistantly because of the defense. Same song, different verse Thursday. The defense runs a courier de Mardi Gas in Conway, and the offense is what it is. Cajuns 42, Beach Chickens 24.

I know, but other than MSU, we have held every opponent this year to below their scoring average, a luxury not often enjoyed by Cajun fans. We are giving up 5.1 yards per play, the best in the conference.
