Coastal will be frustrating to play against. When they are playing well, they play ball control offense, running it pretty well, but throwing short passes and controlling the clock. Had the ball for 13 minutes more than Troy this weekend, but was out gained by 25 yards ... this is what I mean by frustrating.

Hopefully Roberts can figure out a way to take away to get off the field on 3rd down.

We are right now the best defense in the conference. I have been very pleseantly surprised by the progress of our young players up front. App averages 38.5 ppg... we held them to 17.. GaSo averages 25 .. got 24 against us..stAte averages 32.5 .. we gave them 20.. TxSt averages 18.1... 3 against us.

We all love the offense, but the truth is,we are winning consistantly because of the defense. Same song, different verse Thursday. The defense runs a courier de Mardi Gas in Conway, and the offense is what it is. Cajuns 42, Beach Chickens 24.
