UL’s football team has won five of its last six games, establishing itself as one of the powers in the Sun Belt Conference this year, and the Ragin’ Cajuns’ next game is its annual Homecoming contest.

The arrival of Homecoming also means the return of the Bill Bass Open, UL’s annual Homecoming golf tournament staged by the Ragin’ Cajun Athletic Foundation and benefiting the UL golf team
