Thanks....and my bad. I don't know what I did wrong, but when I had clicked on the schedule I didn't see this year's yet. Now I do.

That "Roman girl" showed me something tonight - Kleist made her look silly in her first at bat with two ultra-nasty change-ups - Roman came back with a single in her next at bat, and then the walk-off homer. Played a good first base, as well.
Sidnee Hebert continued to impress on 3rd base - in fact, the entire "2nd team" impressed with a lot of freshman enthusiasm, and even elder-stateswomen, Guarino and Holland, were loose and having fun. Morgan Gray really had some strong positives tonight, running down long outs in right field and speeding around the bases. Garay had another notable night, but importantly did not get freshman-flustered when she gave up hits. Did my heart good to see Holland hitting the ball hard and playing a good 2nd base. Still understandably testing out her left knee from last surgery.
Two impressions from "1st" team - Melissa Mayeux is solid at 3rd base and Boswell is really stroking at the bat (hit a line drive in last inning that missed a homer by a foot.)- no real worries about this team - had 10 or so hits, just didn't get them together. Kleist threw a lot of nasty pitches, but is still shaking off rust from not playing last year - she will be dominant by Spring in my opinion.
Off the cuff, this "2nd team" would win a lot of games in the Sunbelt, and would be a upper-level team in the Southland. This really bodes well for our future.
Winner-take-all on Thursday at 4 PM - Y'all Come!!
Happy birthday, Coach Glasco!!!!!
Coach Glasco has very high hopes for Taylor Roman. She's got a chance to be a great one. Good bloodlines with her dad being New Iberia great and NFL vet Mark Roman. Her mom ran track at LSU also.
