First, I'm not a fan on posting rumors from Fanside. They are not exactly a source that is considered reliable. Second, I realize it's a slow news week as per UL this week, but it doesn't help recruiting to feed rumors of your head coach leaving.

So very true, but you would find that right here.

Agreed Schiano left Patriots before the season in anticipation of the job opening up, is what I have heard.

As far as Napier goes, I think he will weigh a lot of factors, but the AD will play a major role in it. Being that he is such a process/planner/vision guy, he is going to need feel very comfortable with what the AD is thinking about and planning.

Sadly it is the Voice of the Ragin Cajuns that shared it.

If he leaves for a P5 job then that’s awesome for the program. All he has to do is keep winning and it works out for us.

If Napier gets a great offer from a big school, he should take it. I also think he's not going to just jump at the first opportunity. He makes enough at UL to be selective and make the right choice for he and his family. I just hope that's a few years down the road.

Not sure Moorhead would leave a SEC school to go to the state university of New Jersey.

I have said this before and will continue to say it until proven wrong: No head football coach (and basketball coach excepting Pascal) has ever stayed at USL/UL for more than five years and left to successfully coach any other school. Go back to Faulkinberry, Robertson, Tammariello, Stokley, Bustle, Hud, Fletcher, Evans, Lee. Just saying, he needs to move before year 5 or he will end up selling insurance, real estate, owning a bar etc. Not a put down as most of these former coaches are wonderful people and assets to our community just that their stint at USL/UL was the highlight of their coaching career.
