Ole miss is way more attractive than Mippi St.... the best job from the struggling SEC schools is Tennessee....You can win a national title at Tennessee

I get that, I guess I just take it as being more fluid. If Napier moves to sec etc then I think this is no longer a dead end job but I see I’m in the minority

I agree but it’s debatable with the miss schools, since segregation they win at about the same clip and miss st has won the sec west before

It just makes him the one exception. Arkansas state moved more head coaches forward in 3 years than MSU and UL combined In almost 180 years

right now Ole Miss isn't paying any money, they are probably shopping a coach since the fan base is upset right now but they are going to have to pony up more than bottom of SEC pay to get any coaches, after all they do have to live in the delta of MS.

Oxford is a small town, but very nice. And not to be confused with Cleveland or Greenville. It is not in the Delta, it is in the hills.

I'm not sorry, but a true, true dead end job doesn't get coaches like Napier.

    Right.

Faulkenberry, Tamarillo, Robertson, Stokley, Baldwin the term applied.

The last two coaches stayed in the game and got hired right away.

In this particular case, all 3 of those guys were already wanted at the respective schools they went to. The Ark state gig was more of a formality to get them head coaching experience to make the hire look right on paper. Luckily for them, they all did well in their 1 season at Ark state.
