What makes you think that the Sunbelt is better than the Southland??? (This Year)

Because every conference RPI ranking I could find said so.

RPI is not totally what matters. Most Southland schools have to pay a ton more guarantee road games.

It will be interesting to see if Sam gets a better seed than Sunbelt champ.

I think it was like 7 wins to 4 wins in the Southland/Sunbelt series this year, in favor of the Sunbelt.

However, the majority of the games were against lower tier Southland schools.

_ Apparently, SHSU is The team in the Southland this year. Why is their head coach not mentioned. They lost to UL but beat Auburn and are having a great year. I don't know anything about him, just wondering. _

Just because the Sam Houston coach has not been mentioned here does not mean he is not on the list of candidates we would consider. In fact, I bet he is on the list.
