    what good is top 25 when bowl projections still have them in New Orleans. Which would you rather New Orleans or a New Years eve game?

    Doesn't the conference winner automatically play in New Orleans and the conference game loser playing in Florida, like last year? If that is the case, it shows the knowledge base from which the "projectors" are working if they have App playing anywhere else. Nothing guaranteed, but you have to project App St to be in the championship game, which means either NO or FL bowl.

    I'm sure if they are offered a NY 6 bowl, they will play there regardless of winning the conference.

    The reason it is a projection is that it is not the only path, but the path the projector believes will be taken.
