    After UL announced a crowd of 21,012 for a 17-7 ESPN2-televised loss to Appalachian State last Wednesday night, the Cajuns sounded grateful.

    From my perspective ... the only fair perspective ... is to compare midweek games to midweek games.

    If they didn’t scan the students 25k-26k sounds more accurate from what it looked like

    When I looked around midway through 1st qtr, I guessed 25k - we were actually impressed with the crowd for midweek game.
    When I got home and watched the taped game, I saw the upper level and really confirmed 25k+

    I did, and now I don't understand why there was a single line for food at the game.

    -----another way to look at this is to take the 41K that the place holds and see that if you take all the endzone kids and standing folks and sat them---would there be about 20K empty seats???

    You do realize that the reason that you have all these hot takes, is because they are in fact elementary and understood by everyone as basic knowledge? Therefore, nobody posts about it on here because it is common knowledge and understood.
