35-28 Cajuns
Do huh?
This year's App. State's offense may be the best we've ever had. Short field, long field, no matter. Our field goal kicker has had few chances. It has been a problem sometimes that we score too quickly. Quick strikes means the D is on the field longer, which runs up the D's stats. In all 4 wins, App. State never won the time of possession stat. Whatever problems App. might have Wed. night, it won't be on offense. And, as I said earlier, I think App's D will surprise you. Cannot wait to see your O-line. You all got lots of love from ESPN for your big-uglies.
Man, I doubt I will get much done at work tomorrow. Cannot WAIT to get down there!!
AppAlum, I was told by your fanbase last year that last year's squad was the best it ever had. I disagreed with that opinion. I'm befuddled that so many educated football fans think your current QB is Tim Tebow reincarnated. I think he is an average thrower of the football, does not read the field very well and can't "out athlete" most LBs in our league. What I do see is that he can manage an offense and run right over defenders. App's scheme has beaten a lot of people (I'm assuming you guys are still zone blocking on the OL) over the years in this league, exploiting defensive laziness and hitting homeruns with play makers and disciplined decision makers in the backfield.
Vegas has Louisiana -1. Surprising, I think.
Tale of the tape.

Every single statistical category point to a Cajuns win. Except special teams. If the Cajuns field punts and keep from turning it over we win. Period, no questions, next opponent.
If we turn it over and give Appalachian St extra possessions then we will likely lose.
Do we have an injury report yet?
One thing is for sure, both teams will score a lot of points. I don’t think App will be able to stop our run game. I’m not sure what they will be able to do pressure wise on Levi. Defensively we have our hands full but like I’ve said before, Ron Roberts is the best defensive coordinator that we’ve had here imo. I trust that he will be prepared and his defense will force just enough punts and field goals to win us this game.
