Olde Tyme is ok but he won't be able to get fairly quick service at lunch being so close to UL.
There are other places for Boudin, but being from out of town he might be intimidated by the rough edges. Guidroz food store has some good boudin but I'm thinking our visitor might find it a bit peppered. Don't even try the "Boudin with an attitude" from there (it hits you coming and going).
Yeah, don’t think Cafe V is the best choice for that day.....you will be much happier at Don’s seafood Hut. Sit in the bar area, it’s a much better atmosphere. And for lunch you’d be crazy not to try the French Press downtown. They have great brunch and lunch options....their Cajun Benedict will be one of the best Cajun things you’ve ever eaten.
Yall are too kind. Wish we could hang out for a week and try them all! Thanks!
I shared the fine hospitality shown on this message board with other son and now he wants to join us. So there willbe three of us.
Dont let anyone say these message boards make no difference. They do.
